I tried potatoes again last night. I wanted to add some starch into my diet and see if it helped my energy. I tried them on two other occasions, but I wasn't sure if I was reacting or not. I waited a few days and tried them again last night.
I made the same meal I had for lunch, except that I added one small yellow potato. I had some troubling with my digestion, but I didn't connect it with the potato. I just thought I had either too little stomach acid or too much. And that may still be the case.
However in the morning, my head did not feel normal. Around my right ear, my head felt like it was filled with fluid. I figured it was from the potato.
I went ahead and started to eat a small bit of leftovers anyway and felt like that was only exacerbating the problem, so I stopped. I took some probiotics in the form of a Bubbie's pickle and some pickle juice and later on, some goat milk kefir.
I guess I'll be leaving potatoes out for now.
